Turn it on once in the app. After that, arriving and leaving is all it takes. The waiting happens on our servers, not on the phone.
The owner sets the wait, from 5 to 60 minutes. People without working hours are only asked, never checked in by themselves.
Auto-pilot off? “I entered” and “I’m leaving” are one tap each, on any phone.

How billing works
What is a seat?
One active manager or employee, however many hours they work. Owners, and anyone you have paused or archived, take no seat.
What about part-time or seasonal staff?
A part-time person takes one seat, like anyone else. Pause seasonal staff when the season ends and your next invoice drops; resume them when they come back.
What happens when I add someone mid-month?
On monthly billing, the remaining days go on your next invoice and nothing is charged now. On yearly billing, the rest of the year is charged when you add them.
What happens when I remove someone?
You have already paid for their seat until the end of the period, and that is not refunded. Your next invoice is lower.
Is there a contract?
No. Monthly billing renews each month and yearly billing each year, until you cancel.

Location only when it matters
Without auto-pilot, location is read only between “I entered” and “I’m leaving”. With auto-pilot, the phone reports only the moment it crosses the workplace circle, and the route is never recorded. Location reports are deleted after the period the business sets: at most 30 days on Free and 90 on Team.
